What are we looking for?

  • Degree or equivalent in Radiology technology
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Valid professional registration/licensure
  • Proficiency in operating digital and 3D mammography equipment
  • Ability to deliver high-quality mammography and bone density scans
  • Experience supporting a radiologist during image-guided biopsy procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality mammography and bone density scans, ensuring patient safety.
  • Assess patients, obtain clinical histories, and support radiologists in determining imaging needs.
  • Accurately record patient information and imaging data, maintain confidentiality and data protection standards.
  • Prepare equipment and assist radiologist during image-guided biopsy procedures.
  • Provide reassurance and compassionate care to patients throughout their visit.
  • Contribute to quality control programs and report any equipment issues promptly.
  • Follow all health, safety and radiation protection standards to safeguard patients, colleagues and self.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver coordinated, safe, patient-centred care.
  • Support the smooth operation of the Diagnostic Imaging Department as required.
  • Attend various meetings as required.
